Mom said it to Gary and DeMar. They came up to play on a Sunday evening and we were just finishing a bite to eat. We were having leftovers from Sunday dinner. Mom had a lot of chicken left and only a few pieces of cake. So she asked them if they would like some chicken, and DeMar said, "No, but I'll have a piece of cake." Gary knew the situation and he was embarrassed.
That cake sure looks good..!
The chicken was good too.
I think this was the same day that DeMar got mad at Gary and tried to throw a cup of water on him. Gary was up in the tree and DeMar was down below. Which one do you think got wet?
