One night after me and Deanna got into bed, Deanna called for Mom to "Check on me." So, Gordon came in with a magic marker and put a check on her forehead.
Here is the full story: Every night when Deanna went ot bed, she would call out to Mom "Check on Me" so she could feel safe enough to go to sleep. This had gone on for quite some time. One night I decided it was my turn to check on her, so I got a marker and put a check on her forehead. She waas not too happy with me that night.
I don't remember Gordon actually "checking" on me, but I do remember the black checkmark on my forehead the next morning. What a blessing to have big brothers...
