Glen also had a car that we called the Banana Seed. It was a yellow and white Ford Torino that he got from Uncle O'Dell. It was absolutely the worst car in the snow. If the weather report predicted snow, it would get stuck. We said that it couldn't drive over a banana seed without getting stuck.
One time I was driving to school at BYU and traffic was backed up. I was cussing the "idiot Californians" that didn't know how to drive in the snow. Sure enough I get up to where the problem was and there was my little brother with a couple of his friends trying to push the "Banana Seed" over a snowflake. How embarassing.

If somebody was tight with their money, it was said that they were so tight that they couldn't pass a banana seed. ---Mom
I specifically remember that comment with regards to Reid Burgess and his lack of inventory at Burgess Merc.
I also remember something about "the eye of a needle"
At 50 paces.
