Yes, I loved Grandma's house and putting my little finger thru the holes in the door (and peeking thru the holes too!) and sitting on that heater in the summer (provided nice extra heating then, didn't it!)
A better question would be how many grandkids could you fit on one of those heaters? And how long could you sit before you felt like you were going to burn through the bum of your pants?
It is amazing the things one could hear (and see) through those holes in the door. (My, how young we look...)
