HANG ON TO THE WILLERS.

As I remember... in the 1950 Chevy. Delux... before the days of seat belts...There was a looped strap atached to the door post. just behind the drivers seat on each side of the car... and a big long strap on the back of te front seat... We called these the "Willers". When Dad would swerve to miss a "mouse"...we learned to "Hang on to the Willers" so that we wouldn't end up on the floor in the back seat.
