Chargers. What is in a charger? Everything but the kitchen sink, I think, including apple cores, seeds, and peels, all thrown into the blender. I think he made his concoction a bit differently at our house than he usually did at home. The missing "secret ingredient" probably made them taste better--or made you so happy that you didn't care WHAT they tasted like.
I remember the night he made the Chargers for us, I think Glen and I took ours outside and dumped them after we tasted them. Could that missing ingredient be after shave?

Either after shave or that special kind of 7-Up that they only sell at the liquor store.
