I think the "look of sheer wonder" is really saying, "I'm going to be a high-powered lawyer someday." I think this is Glen.
I'm pretty sure it's Glen, but it's hard to tell without the jam on his face.
And as far as wanting to be like Kendell, why would I want to be like somebody who can't spell eyes.
I really think that it's a picture of myself. Can't you see the handsome lines and bright intelligence?
