Not quite sure how to convert it to US or Metric. but it was a standard used by residents of Alpine to measure Hay.
I thought that you would also remember that a "jag" was a load of manure
Yep.... I guess that it was a measurement for Hay.....either new.....or used.
A jag was also a load of manure that we spread with great joy each spring.
