I can assure you that I never came up with that name! Asd I remember it, we used to have races as kids. the short races were from the edge of the lawn to the end of the driveway. The long races were from Grandpa Strong's home (without cutting through the pasture). It seems that on one of those races, whoever was behind me said that whan I ran my pants went up and down. Hence, Pumpity Pants. There also may have been some "blowing off" involved, but I can't say for sure. Anyway, I remember that blows have been administered for those who called me that. I never wanted that nickname to get out in public, but I guess that the pen is mightier than the sword.

Would it be bad to teach my kids to call you that? I can't stop laughing!!!

Grandpa "Pumpity" has quite a nice ring to it... I will have to defer to Dean on this one.... I suspect it is a product of his creative genius.
I think it was either Brenda or Kendell that came up with this. It is too clever for me.
I really don't know where it started. Gordon, what is your perception? Maybe you gave the name to yourself.
