I could take the soft cast off on the morning of Memorial Day. Here is what it looked like when I took off my cast:
I go back to the doctor on the 14th, and back to work that evening. Unless something unforeseen happens between now and then.

I hope the surgery did the trick and that you heal quickly.
Is that a gang sign.... or a cross on your hand?
I've been trying to figue out which gang my doctor belongs to. Maybe he will tell me when I go back on the 14th.
I think you should stay away from gangsters. After all, look what that guy did to your hand? I hope it heals up quickly!
The anathesiologist told me that the doctor has painted pictures of native Americans and has some hanging in his examining rooms at his office. Maybe the doctor made me an honorary member of a native American tribe.
