Is that a parrot glued to your shoulder, Martell?
That's one of the few Halloweens I actually remembered. I remember that parrot too, and also going trick or treating with Suzy that year. She held onto Molly's cat tail the whole time so she wouldn't get lost.
Yes, that is totally a parrot. And it's not glued, it's sewn on if I recall correctly. Also, I think that parrot once belonged to our beloved neighbors, the Browns.
I love these pictures! what a good halloween memory. If I remember correctly, that is my one and only costume....I am pretty sure when I grew out of it, that was the end of my dressing-up to this day.
I'm glad I took the picture then. I'm also glad I felt impressed to put these pictures on the blog to share with all of you.
