Gordon drank gasoline. It was in a bottle in the coop and he thought it was orange juice.
I remember hearing that story too. STRONG orange juice, eh?
He told me that he drank gas when I was little, but for some reason my memory forgot the part about it being in a milk carton. For years I always pictured him standing at a gas station, gas pump in mouth, guzzling away. So young, so naiive.
Ok, here's the story. I was in the chicken coop snooping around. (The chicken coop had many treasures hidden away, all covered with dust.) Suddenly, I spied a pop bottle with orange liquid inside. First, pop was a treat at our house and second, I was a very young kid. anyway, the lure of the orange necter was too much to resist. I took a large dram of the liquid, and immediately knew that something was horribly wrong. I immediately ran to mom crying. Somehow she found out what I had imbibed in and I was rushed to the hospital. There I had the honor of having my stomach pumped... Fun times, eh?
