What did Dad do to help his bad back feel better? (Hint: I saw Barney Fife use one on an episode of Andy Griffith once, but he used it for a different reason.)
Ha! You're both wrong. It was Aunt Bee's homemade pickles. . . Seriously, it was the harnass that Dad put his chin in. Barney used it to stretch himself, but Dad used it for his bad back.
Dad also liked to lay on his back and pull his knees up to his chest to help his back. It could be pretty funny (as Glen can attest) when he would do it on the golf course.

I haven't quite figured out how a pistol .... with no bullets ...... made Dad's back feel better.
Kendell, you're wrong. It was a billy goat full of dynamite!

I think it was Otis' still. By the way, does anyone know Otis Campbell's favorite Christmas carol?...Still, Still, Still.
Natalie got this one right. Do you think it made Dad any taller, or did it just make his neck longer...like Wayne McDaniel's?
You don't hear him complaining about a bad back, do you?

Let's not talk about Wayne McDaniel's neck, that' too long a subject.
